Fr. Prof. Marcel Dubois, Of Blessed Memory The life of our friend and mentor, spiritual father and teacher, Fr. Prof. Marcel J. Dubois, OP, was fulfilled in the evening of Thursday, 14 June when he was called home. The next day, at the funeral in the Convent of Beit Gamal a huge group of people paid Fr. Marcel the last respects. While we are grateful for the many blessings in his life, we are particularly thankful for his important contributions to the work of the Ecumenical Fraternity for more than four decades. [More] |

| Special Honours Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands has decided to award Rev. Dr. Geert Cohen Stuart with the insignia of "Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau." It is a token of appreciation for "his life-long activities to promote Jewish-Christian understanding and to stimulate Christian acceptation of Jews and Judaism.'" The Board of Trustees of the University of the Holy Land has conferred the degree of Doctor of Theology, Honoris Causa upon Canon William Broughton.
